This qualification is suitable for those working in telesales. You will be assessed whilst carrying out your normal working duties.

Course Duration:

 

6 - 12 Months

Entry Requirements:

 

Must be working in a telesales or customer service role.

Course Outline:

 

Mandatory Units – You must complete all of these:

- Manage and prioritise time for sales activities
- Demonstrate compliance with legal,
regulatory and ethical requirements
- Sell products and services over the telephone

Option Units – Choose 3 units from the following:

- Obtain and analyse sales-related information
- Develop, implement and monitor call plans
- Manage your own personal and professional
development in sales
- Sell products and services at trade fairs,
exhibitions or conferences
- Undertake sales demonstrations
- Input and access data in your organisation's
information systems
- Assist customers to obtain finance for
purchases
- Process customer orders and payments
- Monitor the delivery of products
- Generate and follow up sales leads
- Handle objections and close sales
- Ensure health and safety requirements are
met in your area of responsibility

Learning Outcomes:

 

You will receive a City & Guilds Certificate for NVQ Level 2 Telesales.

Assessment:

 

You will be assessed by the following methods:
Observations, Questioning, Witness Testimonies, Approved Prior learning.
